Photo at Rodeo

“Rodeo participants still look pretty much like they did

in the olden days—Levi’s, cowboy hats, boots, spurs,

and fancy shirts. I took this photo at Cave Creek,

Arizona where determination, stubbornness, fear,

excitement, and adventures are all jammed together.

Cave Creek is an Old West town. You can even see it

in its architecture, it’s mountains and tall, light green

saguaro cactus plants.  See how I avoided “cacti” vs.

“cactuses?” I lived there for several decades and it still

lives in my heart.

In my next blog I’ll take you along to meet the

characters I wrote about in my book “There’s Something

About Cave Creek (It’s The People).” I liked them, and

I hope you will too.
