Thoughts . . . About A Stained-Glass Artist

I’m working on a chapter about a glass artist, Holly Stedman, for my book, ARTISTS OF SEDONA. She’s a cute little dynamo — has five businesses, but she absolutely can’t give up her primary one. It has taken over her life. She’s happiest in her dream studio, designing, measuring, cutting, wrapping copper or lead around glass and soldering them together in her preconceived and precisely drawn images. There’s no room for carelessness in this process.

She even publishes her own books, one called SPLENDOR IN THE GLASS, a handsome how-to book in glorious colors. They are her own designs, born of curiosity and an active mind.

I’m impressed.
